Family Outfits For Your Photoshoot

Below are some of the great family outfits I’ve gotten to photograph. For fall, the outfits feature autumnal colours and lovely knits. In winter obviously we’re dressing to stay warm, but some layers underneath can let you wear that jacket that you like a lot more than your puffer. Spring is fresh and a great time to bust out those lovely colours. And then summer comes along and we all do a happy dance in our shorts! Don’t I have the coolest clients? Remember to dress like yourself first and foremost, because these are memories we’re capturing, and you want to remember things the way they really were.

Black, red, denim and brown. I love Elle’s fur vest adding texture and Mom’s open plaid shirt, so that it’s not overkill. They’ve also incorporated the red in baby London’s jacket, but then Dad skipped over the red and brought in the leather jacket …

Black and blue with just a hint of white in the prints and patterns. I know people say not to do this, but on these kids it’s cute and it works. Because it’s who they really are and that’s the most important part. Also, I want mom’s shoes.

Pinks, blue and white. These cutie pies jumped in Vienna’s birthday crib, and they looked awesome doing it. I love that no one is wearing the same combination of colours but it all works together.

Mom’s wearing a shirt she likes. And Dad’s wearing a shirt he likes. And they aren’t matchy matchy at all, but they look fantastic. Melrose at it’s best.

So instead of settling for her winter coat, she put a few sweaters on and voila! It was warm enough. Tommy looks extra cute in his matching brown jacket and their family looks put together but not too matchy.
